Port Elgin Programs (CAW Family Education Centre - Port Elgin, Ontario)Port Elgin programs can be paid for through either:
1) the "Paid Education Leave (PEL) Fund" - money that is bargained by local unions and paid by companies; or
2) local union funds (on a 50/50 costs sharing basis with the National Union).
All of the Port Elgin programs are held at the CAW Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario.
How can I apply to attend programs in Port Elgin? All applications are made directly to your local union. Contact a member of your Local Union Executive Board or your Education Committee for information about how to apply for a program.
Registration deadlines in your Local may be different than the registration deadline posted here. If you are interested in applying to attend courses listed, contact a member of your Local Union Executive Board as early as possible.
