- Cooperate in political action and other campaigns in order to establish beneficial legislative measures at all levels of government as coordinated through the office of the CAW Canada national president.
- Communicate information of common interest to workers in the shipbuilding, marine transportation, marine fabrication, fishery and other Marine related industries, including problems related to wages, hours, benefits, and other conditions, along with common bargaining and organizing strategies.
